Yesterday around 1500 hrs, #Truck33 was alerted to respond as the first due truck to the 2600 block of Swann Wing Ct. (Box 06-05). Crews arrived to find fire showing from the second floor and roof of a 2-story single-family home. TK33 was assigned to the 2nd floor and worked with Engine Co. 6 and 38 to open up and extinguish the fire for approximately 10 minutes before the roof began to collapse. Due to deteriorating conditions, units were briefly pulled out to knock down the fire with ladder pipes before being sent back in to extinguish remaining fire and open up. Truck 33 overhauled for an extended period of time, operating for about 3 1/2 hours before returning to Landover Rd.
