Yesterday evening, #Truck33 was alerted to respond as the second due truck to the 12700 block of Heidi Marie Ct. (Box 46-12). Crews arrived with a corrected address of the 2000 block of Bart Ct. to find fire in the attached garage of a 2-story single family house and TK33 reported to the second floor to assume Division 2. Due to clogged stairs, the inside team made access via ladder to open up for Engine Company 20, where multiple pockets of fire were located in the bravo side exterior wall in addition to fire running the siding. The outside team laddered the building, ensured the garage door was cut, and then reported to the top floor. The fire was held to the garage and exterior wall due to quick aggressive truck work on the second floor so the engine could K/D extending fire. The six Kentland volunteers operated for about an hour before returning to service. 📸 Company 20
